A heart of Thanksgiving

"Dear God, I’m grateful to have a heart of thanksgiving. Thank you for pouring your grace upon us and covering us with the coat of salvation. Thank you for your amazing power and work in our lives, thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. Teach us to be grateful in all areas of our lives and may we praise you in all our daily experiences. Thank you for loving us first and adopting us into Your family. Thank you for your son’s sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough. We are grateful for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you've given and will continue to do. This year help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you afresh. We pray that you will renew our spirits, fill us with your peace, kindness, and joy. We will continue to walk with you on this day and every day, for You alone are worthy! In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Dear God,

I thank you for who you are and how good you’ve been to me. For being my first thought in the morning and the last thought in the evening. You are above all. Because of you I’m breathing and walking. I thank you for each and every day. For the sunrise and sunset. For the rain (bows), frost and snow.
